Just Accept It, Won’t You?

Fill in the blank: “Life is too short to _____.” Now, write a post telling us how you’ve come to that conclusion.

“Life is too short to deny yourself the chance to love and be loved.”

Quite cheesy, right? For those who are on the verge of losing hope here’s what I say. You may not love the life that you have right now but there’s always one person who wants you stay in their life. And with the word “love” what comes first in your mind? Family. Right? Just look at them. Your parents love you more than anything else in the world. They’ll do everything just to protect you, nourish you and provide you not only material things but also love and affection. They’ve been doing it since the day you were born and up until now. Look at your brothers and sisters and cousins and friends. Try not to go to any planned reunion or hang out, they would notice you’re not there. The fact that they noticed your absence means they’re expecting you to come. Because you are a part of them. Not in a cheesy cheek-to-cheek-evry-time-you-see-each-other way, just plain togetherness (if there’s such a word.) They may not admit it to you but you will always have a special place in their heart. Even if it’s just a tiny, 1/1000th part of their hearts. You are still occupying a space in their heart which means, that without you, they will not be complete. Family and friends are always there for you. So, if they’re extending a hand to you, don’t push them away. If you don’t love yourself, let them love you. You have all the right to be lonely and sad. Just don’t expect people will do the same. Or people let you stay the same pathetic beast that you are. They. Love. You. Just accept it. Please?

Hoping for the best,
Jill ♥
